The Guide

Twelve guides to one small village. Each one exists because somebody asked us the question, at a cafe table or out in the lineup, and the answer we found online was wrong, outdated, or written by someone who had never set foot here.

So we keep our own numbers. Prices are in dirham with euro conversions at roughly 11 MAD to 1 euro, every page carries the date it was last checked, and when rent or the taxi fare moves, the page moves with it. Where a price is negotiable we say so. Where we could not confirm something on the ground, it does not go in.

If you are new here: Tamraght is a small surf village twelve kilometres north of Agadir, quieter than its neighbour Taghazout, and increasingly the base people pick when they need to get real work done between sessions. The Guide is the practical half of this site. The Swell is the other half, and takes none of it seriously.
